The B.I.A. hopes to enhance both the development of existing business and to work cooperatively with the City’s economic development officer to attract new businesses. Getting Around
It's obvious that walking will be part of your journey here as you stroll in and out of some very great shops and restaurants but in addition to that, there are some great ways to get here and get around.
Parking
Parking in Thorold can be done on the street or in a variety of parking lots in the BIA boundary. On street parking has a two hour limit and most parking lots are free all day. There are some privately owned lots also that offer monthly parking within the downtown core area. For a map of on street parking and lots with cost information visit the maps page.
Thorold Transit
Thorold Transit provides bus service within the urban area of the City of Thorold and connects with the entire neighbouring City of St. Catharines. With a variety of convenient and accessible travel options, it's easy to get you where you want to go. Cycling
Thorold won Bike-Friendly Community Bronze recognition from the Share the Road Cycling Coalition in 2013 for investing in its cycling infrastructure. We have several shops downtown that provide water, washrooms, bicycle repair kits and first aid kits to cyclists free of charge. Bike racks are plentiful along the sidewalks and some places offer free delivery to those shopping while on a bicycle so you don't have to worry if you can fit it all in a backpack!

Here's how you can get to us from either the North or South directions. We're perfectly located in the centre of Niagara Falls, Niagara-On-The-Lake,St. Catharines and Welland. There are many attractions near us so come check them all out!
