Busker Festival Cancellation

For Immediate Release

Tuesday, August 4, 2015 – Niagara – The Thorold International Busker Festival for August 15th and 16th has been cancelled. The organizing committee would like to apologize for the overall and short notice of the cancellation.

It is with deep regret that the event be cancelled as the committee believed this was

going to be a strong and successful event. Many hours were spent by the committee made up

of volunteers trying to make this event happen.

Due to circumstances such as lack of merchant support, sponsor/vendor participation and lack

of funding, they had to make the tough decision to cancel.

The committee wishes to strongly thank everyone who helped for their support of this event.
